The Lauck Street Shipyard is owned and operated by Bob and Peggy Hunt, from the basement of our home in Strasburg, VA


History
We started our business in June 2003 as a sole proprietership. In October 2005, the business was converted to a Limited Liability Corporation, and in January 2008, an S Corporation.


Future Goals
Our goal is to continue to develop Practicums based on poplular kits and when possible, new Plank on Frame kits. Our kit production depends on our ability to obtain suitable pre-milled wood for our kits and our ability to have sufficient time to produce the kits in a quanitity that will meet demand. In most cases, we can only produce four of any given kit in a one week time period. Production of kits must also allow for ample time to continue other product developments.
