Senior Course Hannah
The Senior Course Hannah is a scratchbuilt course based on the plans drawn by Harold Hahn. The course takes you through the complete construction of the hull but not masting and rigging. There is over 30 minutes of video clips showing you how to make a frame from start to finish and much more. Every aspect of the model is shown going into great detail on how to make the jig, frame the hull, make deck furniture and frame the deck.
This course has 15 chapters in all. It will teach the modeler everything he needs to know to do basic plank on frame scratchbuilding and is recommended for modelers with experience building several model ships. Wood for this practicum may be purchased from HobbyMill Corp.
The course comes on CD. An optional photo CD is available containing all photos taken when the model was built.
The plans must be purchases separately from Harold Hahn. Harold Hahn does not have a website or email (he's nearly 90 years old). However, you may still order plans from him by standard U.S. mail.
