Our newest product now in development is a very detailed Masting and Rigging practicum which will include not only a CD with the practicum chapters but also a DVD movie that can be played in your computer or on your home entertainment DVD player in full HD format (1080i). This practicum will show you in detail, how to make all of the masts and yards for the HMS Kingfisher kit we are producing. The second chapter will show you how to attach the standing rigging with video of seizing techniques. The third chapter will cover attaching the running rigging and associated blocks. The fourth chapter will cover mounting the masts and tying off the standing rigging. The fifth chapter will cover belaying the running rigging.

The expected completion date is September 2008 and the expected price will be $120.00 for the practicum alone or $150.00 with the DVD. A parts list will be included and will show the wood needed with dimensions, rope needed with dimensions, and blocks needed with dimensions. The practicum is based on David Antscherl's plans. Those building the Kingfisher kit will want to order a set directly from David.
