Planking Model Ships - $30.00

Our mini-practicum on Planking Model Ships will show you how to break the hull down into smaller parts and then analyze that hull to determine how to shape the planks in each of those parts. The practicum covers double planked hulls but works equally well with single planked hulls. It demonstrates how steales and joggle planks are used, how to recognize when they are needed, and how to make them.

This is a great mini-practicum for modelers of all skill levels. Once you learn these techniques you can apply them to any model ship you wish to build. We give this mini-praticum free to all new customers who purchase one of our College of Model Shipbuilding courses.
