Volume III of my Detailed Guide to Scratch Building Model Ships covers how to develop CAD drawings for the keel assembly and make the various parts to it.
This volume goes into detail on what each part in the keel assembly is called an its purpose. The volume shows how to make a historically correct keel assembly from your CAD drawings by creating templates of each part. It also shows how to use layers of wood to create special joinery that looks hand carved but is much easier to make than actually carving the joints.
Each volume is printed in full color on glossy paper. Even the book's front and back cover are on heavy stock glossy paper. This is a very high quality printed book, 8-1/2" x 11" with heavy duty spiral binding that enables you to open the book and lay it flat on your workbench while building your model.
